Gaggia Titanium

The Titanium is an impressive machine, with it's beautiful stainless steel front on an all-metal frame. Slightly wider than the other automatic machines, it features a larger water reservoir with handle, an air-tight cover on the bean hopper to keep your coffee fresher, and comes standard with an auto-foaming attachment.

The Gaggia Titanium is Gaggia's latest entry into the luxury segment of the superautomatic category. On the inside are dual stainless steel lined boilers for maximum performance and longevity. The cobalt blue digital display keeps you informed of all the functions of the machine and the 3 customizable brew buttons allow you to tailor the Titanium to your personal preferences! 

At the touch of a button, the Gaggia Titanium grinds each serving from whole beans, automatically dosing (from 6 to 9 grams) and tamping the coffee, brewing through high-pressure extraction, and dispensing into the cup from a height-adjustable outlet. The Gaggia Titanium allows pre-infusion to take place - a great advantage to successfully bringing out the best flavour in an espresso. The first step involves a 1 second pulse of hot water to moisten the grounds, then a short pause of 1.5 seconds to allow the flavours to be released prior to the main espresso extraction. Used "coffee pucks" are ejected into an internal "dregs drawer", which is easily accessed by opening the front door. The digital display will inform you when to empty the dump box. The 2.3 liter water reservoir is located at the back of the machine and is easily accessed by swivelling the Titanium round and lifting out. The reservoir holds about 30 espresso's or 10 cups of Coffee. The reservoir is made of clear ABS plastic so checking the water level is a breeze. When the water runs low, the digital display will remind you to refill the water reservoir.

The Gaggia Titanium's cobalt blue digital display visually "talks "while brewing coffee. The display provides easy access to all the machine's functions, including the option of brewing one or two cups of coffee, the amount of coffee per cup, pre-brewing, pre-grinding and an automatic rinsing and cleaning cycle. Truly an international machine, the Titanium can be programmed in one of eight different languages: English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, or Dutch.

More Features: The metal cup warmer plate on top has a heater element inside that brings the surface temperature up to 160F. It can be turned on/off. The bypass doser chute can be used for adding ground decaf or sampling a new espresso blend. The long-lasting conical burr grinder has 18 different grind setting for . Hot Water for tea, etc. is available at the touch of a button. A handy built-in cycle counter keeps track of the number of coffees made. The machine may be left on all day, and an energy-saving feature keeps the machine ready to brew at a moments notice. In addition, a programmable timer can be set to turn the machine off anytime up to 12 hours after it was first turned on.
