The Vienna Superautomatica is a single boiler automatic espresso/cappuccino machine that combines top quality with a low price. This machine features a simple control panel with only three buttons and one dial. One button is for power, one for coffee, and one for steam. The Vienna will automatically grind, measure and tamp the coffee, and then, after brewing your custom-sized espresso drink, will dispose of the used coffee grounds in a built-in dump box. By varying the "water quantity" dial on the front an infinite number of drinks can be produced from a single short espresso to an Americano, in either single or double strength.
Main Features:
The conical burr grinder has 6 different grind setting for different espresso beans. The Panarello-frother device makes it easy to prepare thick, frothy milk without effort. Within 50 seconds the Vienna is ready to steam milk! After milk steaming, the machine will automatically return to coffee mode within 6 minutes. If you are in a rush, a 10 second purge of hot water will return the unit to coffee mode in 20 seconds in our bench tests. Hot Water for tea etc is also available at the touch of a button.
Maintenance: The Vienna Deluxe features a patented and industry leading easy-to-remove (20 seconds) coffee brewing group (picture below). The benefits include being able to quick-rinse the whole coffee-brew assembly in the sink under cool water. This should be done about once a week or each time the bean hopper is filled. With the included brew group key the coffee screen can be removed periodically for a more thorough cleaning. Importantly, should service ever be required the brew group is easily swapped and much easier to ship than a whole machine (remember the 3-year warranty)! The Superautomatica should be descaled on average every 3-4 months in hard-water areas (simple instructions are included). With it's outstanding ease of use and well thought out features, the Vienna is a pleasure to use.
