The Saeco Royal Professional is designed for home or office and includes all advanced Saeco superautomatic coffee machine features, including the push button cappuccinatore. As a top of the line superautomatic machine it is fast, reliable and user-friendly.

At the touch of a button, the Saeco Royal Professional grinds each serving from whole bean, automatically dosing and tamping the coffee, brewing through high-pressure extraction, and dispensing into the cup from a height-adjustable outlet. The used "coffee puck" is ejected into an internal holding bin "dregs drawer".

The LCD display and digital controls make it easy to operate the Saeco Royal Professional. Machine settings and programming are simple to understand and adjust, allowing the user to exert full control over the entire coffee extraction cycle.

Steaming and milk frothing on demand is simple thanks to the Saeco Rapid Steam feature and the built-in Cappucinatore frothing device controlled by pushing a button on the front panel. The dual boiler system allows you the option of steaming the milk first and letting the milk foam stiffen up while you brew the espresso for professionally "peaked" cappuccinos. Similarly, if it is necessary to make multiple drinks it is possible to continuosly brew and steam, with no "down" time.

The Royal Professional is pre-programmed at the factory and will work perfectly as expected right out of the box. It is possible to modify the brew water temperature, adjust the coffee dose from 6 to 9 grams, change pre-infusion time, pre-grind the next shot (to save time in an office setting for example), and adjust the volume of coffee dispensed. 3 push buttons are pre-programmed, but of course can be changed for individual needs from 1 oz Espresso Ristetto to a 9 oz. mug.. A typical setting might be a normal 1-1/2 oz. espresso, a longer espresso and thirdly, an 8 oz. mug of aromatic Cafe Americano. No more need for the drip coffee maker!

More Features: The metal cup warmer plate on top has a heater element inside that brings the surface temperature up to 160F. Of course, it can be turned on/off. A bypass doser chute can be used for adding ground decaf or sampling a new espresso blend. The conical burr grinder has 8 different grind setting for different espresso blends. The grinder can be programmed to pre-grind coffee at the end of a cycle - this ensures a faster espresso for the next user. Hot Water for tea, etc. is available at the touch of a button. A handy built-in cycle counter keeps track of the number of coffees made. The machine may be left on all day, and an energy-saving feature keeps the machine ready to brew at a moments notice. In addition, a programmable timer can be set to turn the machine off anytime up to 12 hours after it was first turned on (a handy feature in an office setting, for example).

Maintenance: Keeping the Royal Professional running smoothly requires no more work than any other machine and with the built-in reminders, actually takes the guesswork out of the routines. The Royal features a patented and industry leading easy-to-remove (20 seconds) coffee brewing group. Numerous benefits include being able to quick-rinse the whole coffee-brew assembly in the sink. This should be done about once a week or each time the bean hopper is filled. With the included brew group key the coffee screen can be removed periodically for a more thorough cleaning. The Royal Professional will advise when descaling is required . When first setting up the machine, test the water that you will be using with the included Water Hardness Strip and program the appropriate number into the machine. There are two descaling programs available; one automatic and one manual. The automatic cycle runs about 45 minutes. The Royal Professional also has an automatic rinsing cycle which runs about 15 seconds when the machine is first turned on.

The Royal Professional is the trouble-free and automated way to enjoy all your favourite espresso and milk drinks, teas, and Cafe Americanos at home or at the office!
