What a beautiful machine. The orange just jumps off the counter. And what coffee. I wasn't too intimidated by the lever machine. Great advice all over the net. After fumbling the first shot (too tight a tamp), sneezing the portafilter in my excited state, ready for number two try, I relaxed, thought about what I was doing and drew a lovely shot espresso. And then I lovingly wiped it clean. My 17 year old daughter just came into the room. Wooooaaa. It's beautiful. Did I mention the coffee was the best in my household history? Did I mention the great advice and the very fast delivery from Espressotec? Life is good.

I purchased this machine at Christmas 2007. I was a little skeptical about buying a superautomatic, having previously owned a semi-automatic for 2 years, I wasn't sure I wanted to give up control... but, the convenience factor beat out my control issues, and I decided to give it a chance. I couldn't be happier with this machine. I had some initial problems getting acquainted with it, but the nice people at espressotec got me pointed in the right direction with a quick phone call (it was purely user error on my part!) Overall, it's been a great purchase. The folks at espressotec are very knowledgeable and helpful, and there is lots of product information and documentation on the website. When the time comes, I'll definitely buy another machine here.

I just recently bought the Silvia online from Espressotec, I ordered Tuesday and received Friday - very fast and well packed. I have had a Rocky grinder (an earlier satitisfied purchase from Espressotec) for some time now and it is nice to have the two sitting together on my kitchen counter…

The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the equipment they sell and very enjoyable to talk to.

I bought the Virtuoso back in April 07 after obsessing about which model to but. . . The reviews at the time were all poor as the intro models were apparently uncalibrated. The Espressotec folks stood by the Baratza and said all bugs had been fixed and it bettered the Gaggia in that you could grind right into my Saeco portafilter using the front pulse button. They were right. It worked like a charm and looked great with a quality SS finish. The unit is quiet, there are no static/dust issues and it delivers a perfect grind set at 10 for my Saeco Aroma. . . My thanks to Espressotec for supporting the product prior to revised top reviews.

What a team August24/07

We bought a Rancilio Silvia and Rocky from Espressotec a year ago. Great machines, but we wanted the convenience of espresso "on demand." I did a lot of research on the Internet in order to get acquainted with HX machines and came across many delighted users of the "Butterfly." From the day "Butterfly" arrived we have been delighted with it. Cannot get over how fast this machine heats up. (We teamed it up with a Mazzer Mini grinder, also from Espressotec, and what a team that makes!!) The service we have had from Don at Espressotec has been excellent. His advice, and ensuring on time delivery's have been much appreciated.

I just wanted to let you know that you were exactly
right about the 2 problems I had with my Giotto.? Both
problems were quickly solved and our Giotto is running happily
again.
Just so you know, the estimate for the repair by the Japanese Giotto tech was $700 for parts & labour, plus about $300 for shipping inside Japan. Expensive over here!? Unbelievable! You certainly saved the day and I wanted to express my gratitude.

The Aeropress arrived yesterday - thanks for the fast service, much appreciated on (relatively) remote Gabriola Island.
I had my first Aero cup this morning, a rich dark Americano which I thoroughly enjoyed, one that completely lacked the bitterness in brews I've had from some pricey machines. I'm looking forward to experimenting with the Aeropress and enjoying it over the years.

I am very happy with my Gaggia Espresso. I am making excellent espresso with lots of crema. I have honed down my technique to an art. I also grind my espresso fresh with a Gaggia MM burr grinder. In fact they sit side by side one another for convenience and easy access. My kitchen table is a veritable expression of espresso technique and preparation with all tools handy such as my large milk pitcher with thermometer etc. In fact I am so happy with my Gaggia Espresso I almost thought of getting a second one. I guess I could have it as a backup if my regular Gaggia needed maintenance or repair but it is such a reliable and durable machine I can think of it ever needing repair or maintenance. I also am proud to have dealt with Espressotec. Thanks again.

I just wanted to tell you how pleased I am by your service.
I tried to order a Gaggia Espresso machine from your company on-line on Tuesday late afternoon (July 13), but for some reason my order did not go through.? I phoned your office and spoke to someone (I wish I'd asked his name) who took my order and said the machine would be shipped the next day.? It arrived Thursday July 15, and I've just had my first lovely latte.? Not only was the machine significantly less expensive than the same machine in stores here, but I got it faster than if I'd shopped for it in my own city!

I have to say that as a coffee lover, you have helped me to increase my quality of life! I have never had better espresso, and I finally understand what properly frothed milk is all about. By the way, the ground coffee that you included with my machine was absolutely delicious, and much appreciated as a reference grind.
