Rancilio Classe 8 S 4 Group
Rancilio Classe 8 is the new standard for busy coffee bars and restaurants that need speed, reliability and unmatched versatility, and want the latest industry advancements and high-end style that reflects their own operation. The entire body of the Classe 8 is constructed of stainless steel with particular attention paid to the satin, brushed finish.
The newly tweaked brew group incorporates an expanded pre-infusion chamber that is capable of coaxing maximum flavour from your espresso, for taste and aroma without comparison, and that will impress your customers. Smooth and consistent espresso delivery is ensured by the industry leading Procon NSF pump backed up by the powerful "RPM" brand electric motor. Pump pressure adjustment is easily accomplished with the quick removal of the side panel - unlike many other machines where pump adjustment is completely discouraged by the machine design.
The entire body of the Classe 8 is constructed of stainless steel and other sturdy metals. The internal components are designed with special care insuring the legendary Rancilio reliability for many years. In addition, the well thought out construction and easy access to those components facilitates the technician's inspections and work.
In addition, the computer senses the instant either hot-water dispenser is pressed, and immediately activates the heating element. This feature gives the Classe 8 "best in class" boiler recovery during peak period usage. The hot water dispensers can be programmed to dispense a pre-determined amount of water (with override) for maximum safety and convenience in busy cafes. Rancilio boilers feature independent fully welded heat exchangers. Many other manufacturer's save money using non-welded gaskets and fitting which require expensive service calls over time. For further ease of use, the Classe 8 uses an optical water level sensor. This removes the headache of scale damaging the water probe which is a problem that other espresso machines have.
Rancilio Classe 8 S means "affordable quality". Many coffee bars prefer the simplicity and barista control that is afforded by the brew unit's simple on/off switch. It means the operator can instantly choose to brew an unlimited variety of shot sizes for individual customers or for you, the owner, to offer more expanded menu choices. Making various sizes and combinations of Americano's couldn't be easier. No advanced computer menu options and features also appeal to those looking to save money while still benefitting from Rancilio's ability to deliver exceptional value and quality in a high end machine.
The Clever steam valve. This new steam valve lever allows you to steam milk effortlessly without knobs to turn. The Clever's ergonomic handle has been designed for ease of use in multiple positions. Flip the lever handle up to the auto-lock position which allows you to quickly steam and froth milk with maximum speed. And from the neutral/off position flip the steam valve down a quarter turn and it opens completely for feathering or touching up steamed milk - giving the barista maximum control. A quick flick down after steaming (with auto return) allows the barista to perform a steam tip cleaning - a major prevention measure in preventing clogged steam tips. The Clever is currently standard on all new commercial espresso machines.
The new, sleek style of the Rancilio portafilters are designed with a slight downward angle for barista comfort. The prominent Double-R of the Rancilio logo is recessed and can easily be used as a promotional tool by placing a co-branded product logo on it.
A new drip tray design includes removable sections that are constructed of high endurance scratch poof polymers and can easily be cleaned either by hand or in the dishwasher. The redesigned drip tray quickly removes and spilt coffee thus keeping the bottoms of the cups perfectly clean.
All Rancilio commercial espresso machines can be fitted to accept pods and or capsules. This provides the consistency of shot quality and cleanliness of pods and capsules provided with the reliability of a commercial espresso machine.
Low (24V) voltage wiring is employed throughout for enhanced safety and reliability. Another great feature that installers will appreciate is the ability to set the machine up for the exact voltage zone that the machine will be operated in (from 200 to 250 Volt) this provides better operational performance and gives Rancilio's electronics their unsurpassed reliability and reputation in the industry. Dual analog gauges for pump and boiler pressure are provided. The Classe 8 utilizes an new accurate thermal sensor, instead of the old "Pressurestats" - much more accurate boiler temperatures are maintained, with virtually no thermal drift.
The Rancilio Classe 8 looks great, is constructed with only the highest, premium high grade components for durability, and gives everyone from franchise holder to roaster/retailer the ultimate in performance and flexibility! If delivering impressive espresso based drinks is your mission the Rancilio Classe 8 is the machine of choice for you!
